Peppertree Vacation & Travel Club

Welcome to the Equivest Members section of our website! As a result of our acquisition of several former Peppertree Resorts and their assets in July 2007, the Equivest Vacation & Travel Club became part of the Festiva family. As mentioned in our 2007 Annual Report, we agreed with the previous owner’s efforts to retire the Equivest name. As the Peppertree name has been used in the past and is connected to several of the affiliated resorts, going forward, the name Peppertree Vacation and Travel Club (PVTC) will be used.

October 2012

Fall is in full swing and we are loving the cool, crisp weather and colorful leaves at our Asheville headquarters. We are thrilled to announce that our Charitable Fund Golf Tournament, held last month at our flagship resort Ellington at Wachesaw Plantation East in Murrells Inlet, S.C., was a huge success. A grand total of $57,000 was raised for Festiva's Charitable Fund. For more information and photos, visit our Facebook page, check out the event's blog post or read the full press release.

Speaking of cooler weather, Festiva's Asheville offices are collecting donations for Western Carolina Rescue Ministries' Coats for the Cold warm clothing drive throughout the month of October. If you are in the Asheville area, please consider donating coats, hats and gloves to someone who needs to stay warm. If you would like to drop them off at one of our Asheville offices, please send an e-mail to Sara at slittle@festiva.travel.

With the holidays right around the corner, we are very excited about our 9th Annual Holiday Charity Auction that will be held in early December. All proceeds will be donated the Asheville-Buncombe Community Christian Ministries (ABCCM). In 2011, we raised a record-setting $18,000 and we hope to do even more this year! Read more about last year's event on our blog. Our employees work hard to handcraft or purchase items that are donated for the auction, and we are always honored to receive donated items from businesses and individuals as well. If you are interested in contributing to our auction, please send an e-mail to Sara at slittle@festiva.travel.

We are thrilled with the progress that has been made on renovations, improvements and new construction at several of our properties including Blue Ridge Village in Banner Elk, NC; Paradise Harbour Club & Marina in Paradise Island, Bahamas; Ellington at Wachesaw Plantation East in Murrells Inlet, SC; and Church Street Inn in Charleston, SC. Please visit our Facebook page for photos of these updates!

March 2011

Effective April 1, 2011 there will be a change in the Peppertree Vacation and Travel Club (PVTC) policy for renting additional points. In previous years there has been a significant amount of excess inventory in PVTC. In an effort to keep the maintenance fees as low as possible most of the excess inventory has been removed from PVTC over the last couple of years which means there are not as many excess points available for members to rent.

Therefore the price to rent additional points above your yearly allotted points will be $0.35 per point and members will be limited to renting only 50% of the number of points owned.

October 2010

As our reward to those Peppertree Vacation & Travel Club members who have paid their 2011 maintenance fees and special assessments by January 1, 2011, we will be sending out gift cards good for a free Relaxing Retreat to use during 2011. These are designated weeks of the year at several of our resorts that you now have the ability to book absolutely free without having to use your points.

You must register your account with a valid e-mail address at www.festiva.travel/members before reserving your relaxing retreat.

Please click here for more information about PVTC Relaxing Retreats including Terms & Conditions and weeks available by resort.

Over the past few months, we have become aware of certain resale companies claiming to be affiliated with Festiva Adventure Club who are contacting our owners regarding the sale of their timeshare.  Festiva Adventure Club does not have a resale program at this time, we are not affiliated with any resale company, and we do not share any of our owners' and members' contact information with any non-affiliated third-party companies.

Please visit Member News for further information about resale companies and links to resale advisories from the American Resort Development Association.
